When hiring from LUXURY RENTALS AUSTRALIA, also known as LRA and hereafter referred to as “we”, “us” and “our” you automatically agree to the following terms & conditions:
Definitions
- User – any individual who uses the site, www.luxuryrentalsaustralia.com
- Lender – an individual who lists an item/create a listing on the site, www.luxuryrentalsaustralia.com, for other individuals to book and return.
- Borrower – an individual who requests and books an item to rent for the rental period.
- Rental Period – an agreed upon amount of time an item is rented out to one individual.
- Listing – an item posted on www.luxuryrentalsaustralia.com, that borrowers can book.
Cleaning
- Please treat all items borrowed with care and be mindful when using fake tan, perfume, makeup and around food/drinks.
- Lenders can include a bond in the booking price, this will be return at the end of the hire should there be no damage to the item. In the event of staining or similar that the lender is unable to remove, the borrower is liable to pay the dry-cleaning fee. In cases dry cleaning is also unsuccessful, the customer will also be required to pay the full RRP of the item.
- Do not attempt to clean the garment yourself, unless otherwise stated by the lender.
- Do not make additions to or alter the piece in any way, unless otherwise stated by the lender.
- Immediately notify the lender of any damage made to the garment during the hiring period.
- Luxury Rentals Australia is not liable or responsible for the cleanliness of an item, the cleaning of an item or the condition the item is received or returned in.
- Should a lender receive multiple negative reviews we will investigate and remove such user from the platform, should it cause an ongoing issue to other users experiences.
Damage
- If the garment is returned in poor condition to the lender, the lender has the right to charge additional fees to fix the damages.
- If the garment is damaged beyond repair, the lender, reserves the right to charge you the RRP.
- If the customer is required to pay the RRP of the item, this payment is separate to the payment of the hire. For example, if the cost of the hire is $40, this price is NOT taken off the RRP payment. This is a separate fee.
- If you borrow an item from a lender and it is stained or damaged prior to use, it is the borrower’s responsibility to immediately notify the lender and Luxury Rentals Australia immediately should an investigation be required.
- Luxury Rentals Australia is not liable or responsible for item prior, during or post the rental period. Should there be multiple reports of user behaviour that indicates a lack of care or respect towards the items of borrowers, an investigation will occur, with the result being that the user is removed from the platform.
Postage
- All hires requiring interstate postage must be placed 4 days prior to the day of hire.
- All postal returns are to be posted with express delivery, by the last day of the rental period. Items can be sent via regular post if otherwise stated by the lender.
- It is up to the lender to determine whether a late delivery will be refunded.
- Luxury Rentals Australia is not liable for any delays in shipping.
Postage Returns
- If you have selected postage both ways when checking out your order will arrive in a reusable parcel with a return label. All lenders that offer returns must include a reutnr parcel with a return label for borrowers.
- All rentals must be lodged at a post office by 2pm the day following the end of the rental period. For example, if you rental is Thursday to Sunday, the item must be lodged at a post office by Monday 2pm. Any rental that ends the day before a public holiday, must lodge the return on the next working day by 2pm. Unless otherwise agreed upon with the lender.
- Once the item is lodged at the post office, a receipt must be shown to the lender.
- If you have not selected a postage return at checkout the item must be dropped back as per the drop off conditions outlined by the lender.
- If a return has been posted with normal post instead of express and this has impacted the next booking and the customer would like a refund. This when will be the responsibility of the customer who lodged an incorrect return to pay the fee of the refund. This also applies for late postal returns.
Refunds
- All lenders DO NOT offer refunds, unless otherwise stated. This includes change of mind or COVID restrictions postponing/cancelling events.
- Issues with sizing DO NOT qualify for a refund. If you are unsure about sizing, please ask the lender.
Pick up/Drop offs
- All weekend hires must be returned by 7pm the following Monday.
- The item must be returned on time, unless otherwise agreed. A late fee of $10 each day will be charged if the garment is not returned by the agreed date. If the item is late and then cannot be hired to the following customer, the full hire price will be charged again.
- Pick-ups are by appointment only.
Fees
- For all booking payments made there is a 2.4% credit card transaction fees.
